Introduction writing
One of the most difficult aspects of writing is deciding what to include in the first paragraph. After all, your first paragraph will set the tone for the remainder of your essay and what's important is that you try to create a positive impression for the reader. Knowing how to write a good introduction, then, is a key element of a successful assignment
Conclusion writing
Together with introductions, conclusions frame texts. They give the reader a sense of 'completion'. Without a satisfactory conclusion, the reader would be left with the feeling that the text hasn't really been finished. Conclusions should also leave the reader feeling that the aims of the writer have been achieved. They should not, therefore, try to introduce any new or unrelated ideas into the main text.
Topic sentences
Most paragraphs have a key sentence which introduces the central focus of the paragraph. This is usually referred to as the topic sentence. Most, but not all topic sentences come at the beginning of a paragraph. The paragraph should then go on to provide evidence to support the central thesis/statement/claim/ belief contained in the topic sentence. Evidence can be provided by referring to others' work (see section on referencing for advice about how to do this), or by giving examples, key facts or statistics.

AUG 20 Selfstudy
In the class, I learn some new words. It is very useful in the writing and in the daily life.
small----tiny hungry------starving hot-----boiling tasty-----delicious big-----enormous/huge/giant funy-----hilarious
dirty-----filthy any----- furious interesting-----fascinating tired-----exhausted
These word can also use with very and absolutely together.
e.g I was very angry. I was absolutely furious. In the class, teacher give our some questions, such as which fascinating place you visited. In the London, I stayed in here only for one month. I only visit London Bridge, Buckingham Palace. I think if I have free time, I would gone to some famous place to visit.
Throught the UK quiz, I know a lot of new knowledge of UK. UK's population is between 50-60 million. Birmingham is the second largest city in the UK. In the UK quiz, I understood some new place in the UK. such as River Thames, Cardiff and so on.
I also know some colloquial word in the UK.

In the classes ,the book five three theories that try to explain the cause of criminal behaviour.
1 GENETIC CAUSES. Human behaviour can be linked to an individual's genes.
EBVURIBNENT. A person's surroundings influence their behaviour
3 Early anti-social behaviour in childhood often leads to a future of criminal behaviour
2 CHOICE. Crime is a career decision. If there are more benefits than risks, do it. But if there are more risks than benefits, don't do it .
In the Internet, I can see a lot of essay about what link to the crime. I choose some paragraph from the Internet.
Some unfavorable character traits can be hereditary. Time -honored proverbs abound in this regard. They aptly illustrate how conventional wisdom acknowledges that some characteristic human behaviors are due to genetic impulses and may be beyond voluntary control

Homesick
This is my first leave my home to the far place to study.So I often feel homesick.When the sun is fall every day,I often go to the park which is the nearest park from my home.I sit in the lawn.In the park, a lot of people play with their family.Some people play football,Some people talk with the other peoples.I felt alone.
